Our standard 2-man delivery on heavy furniture is to most of mainland UK, but doesn’t cover the following areas:
AB, DD, DH, DG, EH, EX, G, HS, IV, KA, KH, KY, KW, LA, LL, ML, NE, PA, PH, PL, TD, TQ, SA, SR, TR, ZE.
We can still deliver to these areas but please email us at sales@thedormyhouse.com for a quotation.

A single white wardrobe can be a valuable addition to the range of storage for which you make house room. If your walls are white, it can blend into the backdrop so it feels like it’s barely there but you don’t miss out on adding extra storage capacity. A white finish helps the wardrobe feel like a smaller presence than one in a darker shade, and it could be the best option for a small bedroom or hallway. White is a light-reflective finish, so it might be the best selection for a hallway that only receives daylight through the front door, or for a gloomy bedroom where it will brighten the space up. When you buy our single wardrobe, you can pick white Pure Breeze as the finish for your wardrobe, but consider, too, the warm tones of Clotted Cream, or the contemporary gentle grey of Rain Cloud. The latter two also bring the advantages of a pale finish and could complement the rest of your room beautifully.
We’ve designed our single wardrobe with drawers as well as hanging space inside. The design delivers the plus points of both a wardrobe and a chest of drawers in one slim piece to make it a boon for small rooms where you don’t have the floor space available for two separate storage designs. Our single wardrobe is also raised up from the floor on neat legs allowing you to see the floor underneath for a space-stretching effect. If you’d prefer, and depending on what you want to store in the single wardrobe, you can opt for shelves in the top section in place of the hanging rail to introduce the room you need for clothes that are better kept folded or rolled, or items such as bed and bath linens.
While white is a best-selling colour choice for a single wardrobe, we can finish yours in the contemporary dark of Smoked Shale, classic Ink blue, mid-toned blue Clear Sky, or any of our neutral hues, including elegant shades of grey, beige and cream. To make the single wardrobe your own, you can also pick the door handles and drawer handles that fit in with the rest of the decor in your room. We offer simple styles or more ornate versions, and metal, wooden and painted styles so your new wardrobe complements the pieces already in your home. So the single wardrobe works for the space in which it’s to be located, we also offer the option for the door to be hinged to left or right when you order.
