How to choose a bedroom chair

Our bedroom chair is a classic design. Fully upholstered with the fabric draping softly to the floor it has an opulent appearance and will show off your chosen fabric beautifully. As an alternative, take a look at our Ripley spoonback chair with skirt, which has more relaxed style with a gathered skirt. Like our bedroom chair it is compact, although it is slightly larger at W:53cm D:73cm H:70cm. If you like the gently sloping back and arms of this design but a more tailored look, check out the Ripley spoonback chair, which has elegant carved legs on show rather than gathered skirt fabric. We also offer a Ripley club chair with deep buttoned back which has traditional appeal and will look like a long treasured feature of your room. If your bedroom doesn’t have the proportions to accommodate one of these options, you could consider designs such as the Evesham carver chair, which has a wooden frame with an upholstered seat and back, or the Bruton carver chair with a spindle back and upholstered seat. Slimmer still are our Somersby occasional chair or Tillia chair which are both elegant choices for bedroom schemes. 


Decide on bedroom chair upholstery

There’s also the option to send in your own fabric for us to use.
