Our standard 2-man delivery on heavy furniture is to most of mainland UK, but doesn’t cover the following areas:
AB, CH, DD, DH, DG, EH, EX, G, HS, IV, KA, KH, KY, KW, LA, LL, LS, ML, NE, PA, PH, PL, TD, TQ, SA, SR, TR, ZE.
We can still deliver to these areas but please email us at sales@thedormyhouse.com for a quotation.

To allow you to add a headboard you can cover yourself to any room, we make our divan headboards in a wide choice of sizes in each of the two standard heights. The headboards with 5cm thick foam are available in the following sizes: single narrow: W:76cm H:68cm above mattress; single: W:91cm H:67cm above mattress; double: W:137cm H:76cm above mattress; king size: W:152cm H:76cm above mattress; super king: W:183cm H:76cm above mattress; and emperor: W:213cm H:76cm above mattress. If you prefer the option of a taller headboard with 8cm thick foam, you can select from the following sizes: single narrow: W:76cm H:68cm above mattress; single: W:91cm H:67cm above mattress; double: W:137cm H:100cm above mattress; king size: W:152cm H:100cm above mattress; super king: W:183cm H:100cm above mattress; emperor: W:213cm H:100cm above mattress.
We offer a brilliant choice of headboard shapes in our cover your own headboard selection. The seven shapes in the range feature both ornate or cleaner lines and there are designs which will suit any bedroom scheme be it classic, traditional or contemporary in appearance. You can pick from curved, serpentine, cloud, and majestic shapes together with rectangular square and rectangular rounded as well as cutaway shapes. If the divan headboard shape is not among the designs we offer as standard, just get in touch with your requirements for further details.
If you’re looking for the option to cover a headboard yourself, our calico covered headboards offer the perfect solution giving you the possibility of adding an upholstered headboard in the shape you want to the full range of bed sizes from 2’6“ singles up to emperor size with all the possibilities in between. There’s also the opportunity to order a custom design as well as those in our range. We also, of course, provide the option to order a headboard that we upholster for you, using a fabric from our enormous collection from the leading fabric houses. These include plain designs as well as both deep and shallow buttoned headboards, headboards with brass or chrome studs, regal headboards, headboards with a plain border, and retro style buttoned headboards. If you opt for any of these designs, you could also take the option to send us your own fabric with which to upholster your headboard design instead. We’ll advise you how much to supply if you take this route.
