Consider what you need in a media cabinet

When you’re choosing a media cabinet, think about all that you need to keep in there. It’s highly unlikely it’s just the TV. You’ll need space for set-top boxes, games consoles, remotes, games controllers, and maybe items such as DVDs of films and boxsets, plus games, too. Space for spare cables will likely be required as well. Look for a design that will accommodate all the extras that come with the television screen, and make sure the media cabinet has a cutout to keep the wires of your equipment neat at the back as well. Compartments, drawers and cupboards should all be sized for the items you’re going to keep in there.
