Our standard 2-man delivery on heavy furniture is to most of mainland UK, but doesn’t cover the following areas:
AB, CH, DD, DH, DG, EH, EX, G, HS, IV, KA, KH, KY, KW, LA, LL, LS, ML, NE, PA, PH, PL, TD, TQ, SA, SR, TR, ZE.
We can still deliver to these areas but please email us at sales@thedormyhouse.com for a quotation.

As well as being a super useful item for your home, opting for an upholstered cube also gives you the opportunity to add colour as bold or subtle as you want to a room scheme, and a burst of pattern, too, to give your space another decorative layer. Selecting a fabric from our curated collection is easy. We have contemporary, traditional and vintage-style fabrics to browse, and you can send for samples so you’re completely sure that your upholstered cube will be just what you wanted. You can make your fabric search easy by browsing by colour family, or among all the colours. We’ve also made it easy to find the fabric you want by narrowing down your selection to plain fabrics, if these are your preference. If pattern’s what you’re after? You can look through florals, checks and stripes, and other patterned designs as groups, but also in colour categories. There’s also the option to provide your own fabric for us to use to make an upholstered cube seat. All you need to do is send 1m of a plain fabric no less than 137cm wide; contact us for advice on other fabrics.
We’ve designed our cube seat to work all round the home, and to combine beautifully with many of our other furniture designs. In the living room, it will fit perfectly underneath our Bruton two drawer table. Put a cube seat here and you can use the table as a neat desk area, or simply store one or two of them underneath it so they’re ready to grab when you have extra visitors to accommodate in the room. The Bruton cube can also be teamed with an armchair where it’ll provide a place to set down a magazine or book, or it can double as a footstool when you’re grabbing some time to relax and unwind. A cube seat can also be a cute addition in a kid’s room, where it’ll provide comfortable seating without hard edges, and is light enough to be repositioned easily.
Need to sneak in extra storage? You might like to check out our Bruton storage cube as an alternative or extra to our cube seat. You’ll get the same neat shape, the same flexibility to use it as perch or side table as required, and the same choice of fabulous fabrics to upholster yours in – either selected from our collection or supplied by you. The difference is that you can lift the lid off the storage cube and stash plenty inside to boost the storage capacity of any space without giving the game away. Alternatively, if you don’t need space inside, but want to add appealing curves to a living area or bedroom, one of our Ripley drum stools could be just what you’re looking for. These round stools come in a choice of three heights, and can be upholstered in any fabric you choose. Just like the cube seat, they can be seat, stool, side table or comfy foot rest as required.
