When you’re choosing a media cabinet, think about all that you need to keep in there. It’s highly unlikely it’s just the TV. You’ll need space for set-top boxes, games consoles, remotes, games controllers, and maybe items such as DVDs of films and boxsets, plus games, too. Space for spare cables will likely be required as well. Look for a design that will accommodate all the extras that come with the television screen, and make sure the media cabinet has a cutout to keep the wires of your equipment neat at the back as well. Compartments, drawers and cupboards should all be sized for the items you’re going to keep in there. Remotes and games controllers, for example, need to be kept in smaller sections of a media cabinet so they aren’t pushed to the back and mislaid. Our TV cabinet with doors has space for a set-top box below the screen and small drawers with cutout handles alongside together with both drawers and generous cupboard space underneath so you can be sure there’s room to keep everything you need ready to hand.
When you’re thinking about buying the right TV storage for your home, you should start by deciding whether you want the television on display all the time, want to hang it on the wall, or like the idea of concealing it when it’s not in use. Our TV cabinet with doors is the perfect piece if the latter is your preference, but we offer plenty of other great designs if you prefer to have the TV on display. You might particularly like the idea of hiding the screen if it’s a large version, as it’s not necessarily the item you want to draw your eye every time you’re in the room. Choose TV storage with doors that conceal the screen and it’ll only do that when someone actually has the television switched on. You should also consider the style of your TV storage. The materials and finish should complement other cabinet furniture in the room and not create a style clash in order to create a harmonious decorating scheme in your living space.
Our TV cabinet with doors is sized to fit all you might need to store with the TV, as well as the screen itself. The overall dimensions of the furniture are W:144cm D:40cm H:197cm with a top cupboard TV area of W:136cm D:29cm H:87cm. The shelf below is W:65cm D:32cm H:10cm, and the bottom cupboards with adjustable shelf: W:67cm D:32cm H:61cm. The TV cabinet with doors can be finished in any of our paint colours – or you can choose to paint it yourself, creating an individual look that suits the rest of your interior perfectly As standard, the doors and drawers are fitted with wooden knobs painted in the same colour that you pick for the furniture, or you can pick handles and knobs from our wide selection, opting for a material and style that co-ordinates with other finishing touches in the room.
