Our standard 2-man delivery on heavy furniture is to most of mainland UK, but doesn’t cover the following areas:
AB, CH, DD, DH, DG, EH, EX, G, HS, IV, KA, KH, KY, KW, LA, LL, LS, ML, NE, PA, PH, PL, TD, TQ, SA, SR, TR, ZE.
We can still deliver to these areas but please email us at sales@thedormyhouse.com for a quotation.

When you buy the cover for a kidney shaped dressing table, you have a fabulously wide choice of fabrics to pick from. We carry fabrics from all the leading designers and offer both plains and patterns. When it comes to colour, you can simply start from what you love or you may be prompted by existing colours you’re retaining in the room. Either way, you can begin by browsing the colour groups in our fabric collection. These include aquas, blues, greens, reds, pinks, orange, yellow and spicy reds, neutrals, blacks and browns, greys, and purples. Patterns are a popular option for kidney shaped dressing table covers, especially florals. You can create a modern take on the look with a scaled-up floral motif, or get a more classic look with a smaller scale version. More abstract motifs can also make for a wonderfully pretty finish for a kidney shaped dressing table. Don’t count out plain fabrics, though. One of these could look rich and opulent, or fresh and delicate, depending on the colour you select. Don’t forget that you can send off for fabric samples for free before you buy.
Already fallen for a fabric for your kidney shaped dressing table cover? Perhaps you’re matching it to a cushion, an upholstered stool or something else you already have in your bedroom? In that case you can supply your own fabric for us to use in making up a kidney shaped dressing table cover. For a kidney shaped dressing table W:101cm D:51cm H:76cm, you’ll need to send us 6.5m of fabric. And, if you’ve gone for the W:114cm D:56cm H:76cm kidney shaped dressing table, you’ll need to send us 7.5m of fabric. Bear in mind that both these fabric amounts are based on a plain fabric that’s no less than 137cm wide. If you are using a patterned fabric, please contact us and we’ll be able to advise you.
You should allow four weeks for delivery of your cover. If you are purchasing both a kidney shaped dressing table and the cover at the same time, we will attach the skirt to the table and fix the gathered pelmet to the kidney top. We fix it by pinning the flange to the edge of the kidney top.
