You can pick from three different sizes if you opt for the Evesham dining table. The range includes a small breakfast table 94cm diameter H:76cm, a dining table 107cm diameter H:76cm, or a large dining table 119cm diameter H:76cm. With these choices you can provide a handy space for breakfast or grabbing lunch, offer comfort for four diners around the table, or welcome six for a sociable dinner. When you’re choosing a pedestal dining table, bear in mind the general rule that a dining table should be 90cm from the wall – or other furniture if it’s between the wall and the table – and up to 120cm or so is comfortable. The reason? This will allow diners to get up from chairs easily. Our Evesham dining table can sit beautifully in a bay window as well as at the centre of a room, and you may find this offers you more layout flexibility than other table shapes.
Our round Evesham dining table has three different top sizes so you can seat the number of diners you need to. The top is made with MDF, which we use because it’s durable and stable – in other words your dining table will last for years to come. The pedestal itself is made from beautiful solid beech wood. When you choose the round pedestal dining table, you can pick a paint colour from our selection to finish it. The range includes both grey-toned and brown-toned neutrals, white and off whites, pretty mid blue which works wonderfully in a country-style room among other settings, and the more striking colourways of inky blue or barely black.
Consider whether you want to have a tablecloth made bespoke to go with a round pedestal dining table. Both half drop and full drop designs are available. A half drop tablecloth has a more casual feel – and will leave some of the colour of the table on show even when the table is fully dressed. For entertaining, you might want to choose a full drop tablecloth which creates a more opulent setting. We can also provide an under cloth to use beneath a lined tablecloth to add fullness. The choice of fabric from our extensive collection is yours so you can create just the right look for the table setting. Think about which chairs you’d like to team with the Evesham dining table, too. Upholstered versions will add comfort for long get-togethers round the table, pick from those with upholstered seats and backs or just upholstered seats. As for our tablecloths, there’s a huge choice of upholstery fabrics for your chairs.
