Modular wardrobe systems, like the rest of our modular range, are a way to design furniture that suits you down to the ground. They allow the combination of individual furniture units into one complete piece of furniture. Why is combining individual furniture units important? Well, if you buy an off-the-shelf wardrobe, it will have a hanging rail of the size the manufacturer specified plus, perhaps, a drawer below or a cupboard above. This specification might not be suitable for your clothes at all – and it might result in a great deal of wasted space or, on the other hand, clothes crammed together in a way that makes them hard to find and doesn’t keep them in optimum condition. With a modular system, you can decide exactly how much hanging space you need, and how tall it is. After all, shirts don’t need the same depth as dresses or coats. Likewise, it’s up to you how many drawers you have, and how much space is provided to store shoes. You can also position the elements of your wardrobe where you need them, separating the storage each partner in a couple requires.
We make it easy to build your own wardrobe. Of course, we’ll actually make it for you, but to your specification, using units at the bottom, above, and, if you want, adding cupboards at the top. To build the wardrobe, the units are placed side by side into the recess of the plinth to make an entire piece of furniture in the configuration you need. One of our wardrobes can be sized from a slim one-way version of 50cm width up to a dressing room style six-way design of 277cm width to fit the room as well as your clothes. All you have to do is think about what you need to store, then choose a combination of cupboards or drawer bases for the lower part of your design, plus your selection of hanging and shelving units above. If you like the idea of top storage cupboards, you can specify these above that. Each of the single units can have a door that opens to left or right, and every base cupboard has an adjustable shelf inside; all the other shelves in our modular wardrobe are adjustable, too.
Modular bedroom furniture is a winning choice because it lets you create individual pieces for your rooms, turning your bedroom into the sanctuary you’ve always wanted, and helping family members keep their spaces tidier. Not only can you choose the size and storage combination in a modular wardrobe design, but you can also specify the colour of your furniture from our range of beautiful paint shades. Light tones will recede from the eye, helping your bedroom feel spacious as well as keeping it clutter-free. Alternatively, opt for on-trend dark shades for modular bedroom furniture to make a statement with your design. You can complete your bedroom scheme with our other modular bedroom furniture. Our modular chest of drawers can be configured with drawers only, or with cupboards and shelves and shoe cupboards to provide generous bedroom storage. Modular TV storage can ensure the screen is perfectly placed for viewing, and doesn’t compromise the good looks of your space, either. And if you need to work from home, a modular desk can be configured to fit into your bedroom. In a complementary finish to other bedroom furniture, it will make the space multipurpose without compromising its style.
