Beds & mattresses – within 3-4 weeks
Headboards, footstools and other upholstery orders – within 4-6 weeks

Our standard 2-man delivery on heavy furniture is to most of mainland UK, but doesn’t cover the following areas:
AB, DD, DH, DG, EH, EX, G, HS, IV, KA, KH, KY, KW, LA, LL, ML, NE, PA, PH, PL, TD, TQ, SA, SR, TR, ZE.
We can still deliver to these areas but please email us at sales@thedormyhouse.com for a quotation.

Finding a piece of furniture for your home that’s just right in every detail could be challenging, so that’s why we offer the opportunity to make designs from The Dormy House your own. Opt for our window seat, and you can choose the colour for your furniture from our collection of wonderful paint shades which range from the palest of neutrals to darks. We offer timelessly elegant paint colours alongside hues that have become modern classics for you to select from. You can also add a seat pad to your bench, boosting comfort as well as ensuring your piece of furniture is individual. Our seat pads can be made in any of the fabrics from our selection, which we’ve carefully curated from the best fabric houses. Alternatively, if you’ve already found a fabric that’s perfect for the seat pad, you can supply this for us to use.
If you like the idea of making your window seat more comfortable as well as individual with an upholstered seat pad, we offer three options to pick from. Our feather and foam seat pad offers optimum luxury. The pad has a foam core that’s wrapped in feathers to create support and durability along with comfort. The combination means maintenance is minimal. The fabric for the cover can be selected from our collection or you can send in your own fabric for us to use. If you prefer a seat that’s a little firmer without sacrificing comfort and that’s also low maintenance and durable, choose our foam seat pad and loose cover for your window bench. Once again, you pick the fabric you love from our wide selection or supply your own. There’s also the option of choosing an upholstered seat pad. These are durable and smart. The design uses less fabric than our other seat pad options, which could help your budget go further or let you opt for a more luxurious fabric because of the smaller quantity required.
Our Bruton bench has an understated tongue and groove finish on the front panel that makes it suitable for classic interiors, as well as those with a country twist. If you’re hankering after clean, contemporary lines instead, look out for the Bruton bench seat. This has two slab-style doors that push open for easy access to what you’re storing. If you prefer the easy simplicity of Shaker-style doors, check out our Portland benches, including the bench with doors, long bench, and shoe bench, which will always be in style. Our window seat with storage is ideal for a bedroom, but if you like the idea of an upholstered bench for your sanctuary space, our Somersby ottoman fits the bill. You can pick a fabric from our collection to use for this luxurious storage seat or supply your own.
